Our Origins

Hi! My name is Janyelle Marie Milton, founder of J Marie Premium Sneakers. Growing up, I was all about heels. They made me feel powerful and feminine. But life had other plans.

As I transitioned to corporate America and settled into downtown Detroit, my days became filled with parking garages and endless walking. Then came a multiple sclerosis diagnosis, which led to vision loss in my right eye and chronic pain. My beloved heels became unbearable.

I searched for sneakers that matched my style—something chic, feminine, and premium. When I couldn’t find them, I decided to create them. That’s how J Marie Premium Sneakers was born. Combining the first letter of my name and my middle name, I built a brand that doesn’t compromise on style, comfort, or quality—because premium women deserve premium sneakers.

The Craftsmanship

There is a place in Le Marche, Italy, known as The Shoe Valley. For over a century, this region has been synonymous with elite Italian shoemaking, producing for brands like Prada, Gucci, and Chanel.

J Marie Premium Sneakers are handcrafted in Le Marche using 100% Italian leather and premium finishes, including faux zebra, crocodile, and python textures in vibrant colors. Our manufacturing partners, with over 20 years of experience, bring unmatched craftsmanship to every pair. The result? Sneakers that are smooth to the touch, comfortable to wear, and visually stunning.
